At Bagoff-Levenbrook Dental Arts, keeping patients happy and healthy in a soothing environment is the top priority. Founder Robert M. Bagoff, DMD and his colleague Steven M. Levenbrook, DDS concentrate their practice in family, implant, and cosmetic dentistry. Through hundreds of hours of continuing education, they offer their patients gentle care using state-of-the-art technology. This includes a computerized anesthesia device to numb only specific areas of the mouth, low-dose intra-oral radiography, digital imaging of the teeth and gums, and various laser-assisted treatments.
Along with technology, Drs. Bagoff and Levenbrook use good old-fashioned communication to put their patients at ease. According to Dr. Bagoff, “Most people’s fear of the dentist comes from fear of pain—fear that they won’t be fully numb during a procedure. We talk our patients through every procedure that we feel they need, and we take as much time as needed to help them to feel comfortable with what we’re going to do.”
No procedure is too big or too small—from smile-improving porcelain laminates to full implant dentistry. Dr. Bagoff explains, “Implants are root substitutes. We have a 3-D cone beam scan and a digital oral scan right in our office, which enable us to perform the most conservative dental implant surgery possible.”
Both Drs. Bagoff and Levenbrook teach in the Continuing Dental Education implant program at the NYU College of Dentistry, and they recently published a chapter in Modern Implant Dentistry, called “Bone Grafting and Guided Tissue Regeneration.”
In addition to state-of-the-art technology and techniques, Bagoff Dental Arts also offers non-dental services for out-of-town and international patients. “Concierge services have been part of this practice for over 25 years,” states Dr. Bagoff. He adds, “We have patients coming from Israel and Italy, and we can arrange Uber rides for them, and we also make restaurant and sightseeing recommendations.”
“When patients first walk into our reception area, they will see a fish tank, a fireplace, and a TV. We really want everyone to feel calm and comfortable here,” says Dr. Bagoff.
