Change a Child’s Story with CASA for Children of Essex County

CASA of Essex County promotes the welfare of children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse, neglect, or abandonment by providing a safety net of support, advocacy, and mentorship. CASA trains and supervises volunteers to speak up for the best interests of these children in court, to ensure that each child has the opportunity to thrive by receiving needed services and assistance while helping to move the child toward a safe and permanent home as quickly as possible.

Join CASA of Essex County as they host two fabulous fundraising events this fall:

—The 25th Annual Golf Outing to support over 200 CASA volunteers who speak up for the best interests of children in foster care. The outing will take place at Cedar Hill Country Club in Livingston on October 15 and will honor past president Mitch Decter.

—And save the date for the Red Ruby Shoe Bash to be held virtually on November 7 at 7pm. This event will celebrate CASA’s achievements of the last 34 years along with their supporters, community leaders and civic minded individuals, who all believe in the idea that “there is no place like home.”
