For its 13th Annual Walk Against Domestic Violence, Start Out Fresh Intervention Advocates (S.O.F.I.A.) welcomes the community to affirm support for those affected by domestic violence and intimate partner violence. Their message continues to be that “With Awareness There is Hope.” The walk will take place in Montclair’s Canterbury Park in Montclair—or wherever participants want to walk. This event is once again offering in-person and virtual options. The Grand Marshall for 2023 is Anthony Smith, Professional Life Coach, heroic coach, domestic violence survivor.
S.O.F.I.A.’s Success Center provides healing therapy, wellness, and safe dating education with a proactive approach in teaching about the dangers of unhealthy relationships and the benefits of healthy relationships. Our focus is to eradicate domestic violence in relationships.
